Ah, Thanksgiving, a time to gather with friends and loved ones. For us, we start the day watching the parade, then we have a feast somewhere in the middle, and top it off with a nap. But between the parade, the food, and the nap, there is a lot of time to fill, especially with our youngest family members. Which is why we play games to fill the down time.
I am so excited to share some of our favorite games. The best part is that the prep work is easy, just print and play!
Thanksgiving Bingo is a fun way to mark off the events of the day as they happen. Kids get hugged by a relative? Or perhaps someone forgot an ingredient? Maybe the turkey’s not done yet, or the gravy is gone. Go ahead and check them off your card. The first to get 5 in a row wins!
The whole family will enjoy acting out these Fall and Thanksgiving inspired items. (My personal favorite is the “stuffing a turkey” card- it’s always fun to watch someone pretend to stuff an imaginary turkey!)
In this game, you complete your turkey’s feathers by rolling a die, and then placing a colored candy on the corresponding feather. Fill all the circles to win, and then eat your candies as a treat before you play again! (candy and dice not included)
All three games are available in my Thanksgiving Games Set, available in my shop. We hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving holiday!
